Mentoring is helping to shape an individual’s beliefs and values in a positive way. The mentor has a deep personal interest, like a friend who cares about you and your long-term development. The mentor is on a similar life journey but is further ahead on the road.
Coaching is often about a particular purpose that can be reached by setting and achieving goals. The coach helps to improve awareness of the current situation, and coaching supports the development of a specific skill for the agreed agenda. Increasing emotional confidence can be coached using knowledge, but the mentoring process will give you the ability to implement these skills over and over again. In short you will learn to become your own coach.
No, mentoring is suitable when the person can function well in their everyday life but wants to improve themselves to experience life at a higher authentic level with less emotional stress.
Counselling is a highly skilled intervention focused on helping individuals address underlying psychological problems.
The session will work on a very personalised level. I will inspire you with a dialogue about your perspective on life. I will create a safe non-judgmental space for you to discover your own potential.
All knowledge will be shared in clear understandable concepts, with practical examples or exercises. My aim is that all learning will be on an applied level, not just an intellectual level. What I mean is, I would like you to start feeling the changes you create. My role is to inspire you to believe and trust in your natural abilities, and to do this, you must get to know and accept yourself.
The face to face mentoring takes place at the Goldfields Women Health Care Centre (GWHCC) at 15 Dugan Street in Kalgoorlie, Western Australia.
This beautiful supportive space is open to men and women alike.
If it makes you more comfortable, we might even go for a walk while we talk.
The session will be on “Zoom”, which is a platform for online video meetings.
You do NOT need an account to participate in a Zoom session. All you will need to do is to click on the Zoom link I will send you. You will be prompted to download the Zoom application (you need one per device).
We can talk while seeing each other and I can share my screen with you for visual information.
Yes, I offer a free 20-minute connection session so we can get to know each other. I will clarify how I work and you can describe what are you searching for. We can than find out if we are good Mentor/Mentee match for each other.
Mentoring sessions take about 60 minutes, but I ask you to keep some time free after the session finishes, as sometimes if we are in the middle of discussing something important, the time may run a few minutes over!
If this is the case, we will not stop the session, we will take the time to complete this point, even if that extends the time.
The mentoring packages are designed to connect to your deeper self. This is to nurture yourself and to become more emotionally confident and assertive. This is a process which takes some time, so it is best to book a minimum of 3 sessions.
It will be a sign of commitment to yourself.
However, once you have completed the initial sessions, you can book session by session if you desire to keep the mentoring process alive.
You will book through a scheduling system to book the first session. We will then arrange the next session once we meet up.
Payment can be made via credit card or PayPal.

The reason I facilitate the separate groups is to allow the participants a space to be very comfortable with each other. I love the way the group members come together and open up as we go deeper into the subject. The theme is emotional confidence for the ladies groups and emotional fitness for the guys groups, and I have found that the issue is often about being assertive and emotionally confident towards the other sex. My intention is to give everyone a judgement free zone of learning and growing.
I also have an assistant in each group. I use the support of a female and a male which I’ll match up with the course.
